Classic yet contemporary, the Encore by Russian Pointe combines a streamlined low crown with a moderately tapered box and medium platform, to suit dancers with tapered toes or one or two even-length toes, and shallow to slightly full feet. The tapered shape from metatarsal area to heel accommodates the "diamond" foot shape. Pre-arched construction mimics the shape of the foot on pointe, decreases pressure on the front of the foot for high arches, makes it easier to reach full pointe for low arches, and minimizes break-in. Next-generation shanks provide flexibility and durability. Handcrafted in Russia in the grand tradition of pointe shoemaking.
